Victims of Identity Theft and Romance Scams (VOIRS) was created to advocate for public protection against Identity theft and Romance fraud, help educate the public to help prevent those frauds, and to seek restitution for the victims.

 

Voirs is dedicated to helping the victims of these crimes, and shining a spotlight on platforms that indirectly supports these illegal activities, in order to foster systemic change.

 

VOIRS is a non-profit organization.Your donations are tax deductible and your support helps us in our advocacy work, and our goal of educating and protecting people, and improving the system.

OUR VISION

Victims of Identity and Romance Scams (VOIRS) vision is threefold. First, to help educate the public, and help prevent this kind of crime and exploitation. Secondly, to protect the public against social media platforms that profit from scammers that prey on victims on their platforms, through online campaigns, lawsuits, and boycotts. Third, to work on behalf of individuals who have been scammed, and provide information about how to receive compensation. Fourth, to help victims potentially receive compensation through participating in class action lawsuits against the platforms they were victimized on.
